Traditional Sami Yoik, CD Dejoda / Gleams. This is classic Sami yoik – remembering those people who have left us and honouring them still living among us. The yoik sounds in their heart and during the migration with the reindeers over the mountains from Karasjohka to the summer residence at North Cape. The yoikers were engaged to take part in the culture program during the Lillehammer Winter Olympic Games 1994. The yoiks have been recorded outdoor at the seaside, Magerøy/North Cape.
